Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula was a Zambian nationalist leader in the movement for the independence of Northern Rhodesia.
A militant and uncompromising opponent of the Central African Federation, he was elected president of the Northern Rhodesian African Congress in 1951, the territory's first African political party.
