Born at Feira in August 1933, Dominic Mulaisho was a Zambian novelist and civil servant.
His two novels, The Tongue of the Dumb (1973) and The Smoke That Thunders (1979), made him one of the first internationally recognised Zambian writers. He died in Lusaka in July 2013.
